the Spice “Turmeric”?
WHY am I “just now” discovering this
Great & Wonderful Spice???
Yes, I paired Turmeric, about 1/4 tsp,
with Chicken & Dumplings,
along with Cumin {Adams}, about 1/4 tsp,
(which I accidentally discovered years ago…
Cumin is absolutely “Married” to…Chicken!)
Wow! Have I “just discovered” yet another
“Chicken_Spice Marriage”!?!?!
Who knows!
Stay tuned for the rest of the story!
P.S. By the way…this Turmeric Spice…
turns the dish…YELLOW_ISH!
B_E_A_U_T_I_F_U_L!
WOW!
I can see a New Cooking Series starting, named…
“Cooking By Color”,
hee hee!!
OK…I “really” don’t Cook…
at least not often, & then, only for short spurts,
cause of the physical challenges…
so I cheat!
I used 2 & 1/2 cups water
with 1 & 1/4 teaspoons Chicken Broth Powder by Knorr,
Added a small can of Swanson’s Chicken,
& 1 Can Swanson’s Chicken Broth,
then, Spices!!
EASY! Five Minutes Prep Time! Really!
Pop in a small can of Butter Flake Biscuits…& GO!!!
{Go…”Sit Down” I mean…lol!}
{What else did I add}??
McCormick’s Smokehouse Pepper, about 1/8 tsp,
Adam’s Onion Powder, about 1/4 tsp,
Generic Paprika, about 1/4 tsp
{Prefer the “Smoked”, but couldn’t find it!}
3 Small Squeezes of “Amber” Flavored Agave,
& Half N’ Half, about 1/4 cup!!
Oh Yes!
And I cooked it all in my
“Infallible” Presto Pot,
turned down to about slightly less than 200 degrees!
I turn it up to about 300 degrees to get it going.
After I pop the Biscuits in,
{chop into quarters first_I use scissors to quarter them – old trick!},
then I turn it down lower, when I leave & “sit down”, ha ha!
Leave simmering about 10-15 Minutes.
{Oh! Sooooo complicated!…Nope}!!
Bon Appetit’ !
